Kimberly and Kevin are a sweet & loving couple who connected with us through our past wedding client’s referral. They prefer candid, natural photographs, not too much pose or staged shots, that simply reflect all the joy & true emotion of their day. I still remembered the day Joe and I walked into her bridal suite and surprisingly found that Kimberly was so well prepared to have her dress & bridesmaids’ dresses hung at a window in her bridal suite that you can see Freedom Tower. The view from the room is incredibly breathtaking from her suite (Not only Freedom Tower, but you can see Holland Tunnel & Hudson Valley water front as well) on the 54th floor of the Millenium Hilton Hotel. Mom, dad and bridal parties were so relax chatting and we had a blast taking photographs with all the wedding parties on the streets of New York city. (Yes, I kept telling all my bridal clients that how important it is to surround yourself with all the fun people that can cheer you up otherwise you can easily stress yourself with little trivial that are not going according to your plan)

Though it is a multiple-location wedding, Most of the locations were nearby within 10-15 minutes by driving (except Kevin’s apartment in midtown) so traffic was not a concern.  To get married at the beautiful Shrine Church of St. Anthony requires six month advanced reservation, so it is better to act quickly if you are planning to get married there in 2015 & 2016. We love the idea that the couple also hired a vintage NYC cab as their departure vehicle as a symbol for their city wedding.  It is also a great photography backdrop & accessory for cobblestone road photo shoot later on.

The reception in Tribeca Rooftop is simply amazing.  The 13,500-square-foot interior space is on the 12th floor and the 18,000-square-foot outdoor space is on the roof a floor up. A stairwell connecting the two floors used to be in the Palladium nightclub as seen below in our pictures.  Kimberly and Kevin were so kind to treat our entire team with the main course during the dinner break after a long day of labor of love.  The food is above and beyond and we can tell the cater did not nickle and dime the clients at all (we can be very picky after attending hundreds of weddings over the years).  Tribeca Rooftop, between Hudson and Greenwich streets, boasts panoramic views of New York City and New Jersey from both floors. There are even heat lamps which make the roof great for a ceremony or cocktails.  In case you are curious, Tribeca Rooftop can fit 400 for dinner and 350 for dinner plus dancing.  Everyone was dancing to Hank Lane Band. It is indeed another nice wedding that we enjoy photographing.  Kimberly and Kevin, we wish you a life time of happiness to be the best friend and partner for each other for the bright future you have together.  Surely our life path will come cross again shortly in your family & friend’s events.  We look forward to it!
