Rain day is not bad for a wedding. Many bridal clients asked me prior to the wedding- “what if it rains?” The answer is we will bring an umbrella if you don’t mind stepping into the rain to have some fun shots. Many cultures believe that rain on your wedding day is good luck. One of my South Asian wedding clients told me that rain on the wedding day is considered lucky, as it is believed to foretell a strong marriage. The logic behind this belief is that a wet knot is more difficult to untie. Joe and I sincerely hope that it applies to Beth & Chris’ marriage in Princeton.

While waiting for the bride to be ready, Joe had some fun shots with the groomsmen. Look at those socks, how fun they are~ Chris and Beth also have a unique idea for guest signing. Instead of asking guests to sign on a book, they actually use a guitar instead. It will be cool to display it on the wall or play it and seeing all your beloved friends’ signatures.

While the rain was nonstop for the rest of the reception, Beth and Chris managed to go outside to have some fun in the rain with Joe. In a deeper meaning- in life we all have expectations as to how things shall go, but things may not always be in our control. Embracing what life brings us and make the best of it, that’s my reflection after attending this beautiful couple’s wedding. Congratulations to Beth and Chris. We wish you remain the cool & relax attitude as shown on the wedding day as you continue your life journey together and be the best friend for each other for the years to come!
