This week we are happy to feature a fun Harry Potter Theme Bat Mitzvah Event from our beloved Stephens’ family. After Isaac’s Bar Mitzvah celebration in 2013, we are privileged to be the family choice photographer again for Josie’s bat mitzvah celebration. I feel great returning to Har Sinai Temple constantly and listening to Rabbi Stewart Pollack’s humorous speech and see all the familiar smiling faces and capture all the excitement. In order to complete visual style of the Harry Potter theme, I did spend some time in photoshop to enhance client’s vision (Really important moments deserve real photographer. :-)). One of my favorites from this event is that instead of family lighting candles as seen in other parties, they invite everyone to participate by adding an ingredient to the potion of love at Josie’s Harry Potter party. Later when she used her wand, the fire came up and excited all the guests! It was an idea inspired from Matthew Davis science project. Josie is a young lady who is passionate about science and math and this party is completely her style, her way. Congratulations to my clients – Merri and Brian for successfully raising up intelligent young adults like Isaac & Josie who are polite, understanding and pursuing wisdom and truth restlessly. Mazel Tov, Josie! You have a bright future awaited for you!
